JC Balls & Sons Digger Dance is an exciting team driven entertainment show exhibiting the flexibility and talent of JCB operators. The digger dance team follow a precise choreographed routine to music, containing several daring manoeuvres including balancing the machines on their sides.
The team consists of 6 members who have been together since 2004 and work hard to get the routine right. The digger dance team are available for any vintage shows, events and outdoor exhibitions across the East Midlands.
The Dako Flying Angels
The Dako Flying Angels are a gymnastics display club, based in Snienton, Nottingham. Performing gymnastic displays from village festivals to gymnastic festivals across the world.
They have appeared on TV shows such as Blue Peter and taken part in many competitions.
They were one of the first acts booked for Sutton Bonington Show many years ago and have returned several times.
Battle of Britain Spitfire Flypast
A Spitfire from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will be performing several flypast over the Show ground. The aircraft are based at Coningsby in Lincolnshire where they fly from through out the summer to airshows and events
The mission of the RAF BBMF is to "maintain the priceless artefacts of our national heritage in airworthy condition in order to commemorate those who have fallen in the service of this country, to promote the modern day Air Force and to inspire the future generations."
A new attraction for this year. Ferret racing is becoming an ever popular attraction at country shows.
We have the Wild in the Country Ferret Racing Show. The genial compere, Malachy de Lacy, will host a number of races through the day. Building up to a grand finale, featuring the best performing ferrets of the day,
Country Chef, Rachel Green
Chef, author, TV presenter, demonstrator and food campaigner Rachel Green has made a name for herself as a passionate ambassador of British produce. Coming from 14 generations of Lincolnshire farmers, Rachel’s message is that food doesn’t have to be complicated to be great. All you need are the best, locally sourced ingredients you can afford and to treat them with respect.
Rachel has appeared at the show for several years and returns after an absence from last years show.
She will be giving cookery demonstrations in her own unique style in the Chefs kitchen tent.
JRCS Birds of Prey
The JRCS Falconry Team has been a regular visitor at the show for many years. They will be appearing in the arena with a spectacular close up flying demonstration and a chance for the public to get involved, close up to these magnificent birds. There is also a large display of birds at their stand.
Jan, a falconer with many years' experience, started his professional career with the Bird of Prey display team at Woburn Abbey. His work has covered every aspect of rearing, training, working with and caring for a wide range of birds of prey.
