The Horticultural Marquee is organised by the Sutton Bonington Horticultural Society. Exhibition classes for vegetables, flowers, foods and handy crafts. There are also a variety of classes for children. All exhibits are from society members or residents of the local qualifying villages.
There will be a demonstrations of vegetable carving by Andy Lao. He will be making incredible flowers from carrots, radish and any other vegetable he can find.
In the Craft Marquee you will find a wide selection of crafts, from knitted items to ceramics, glassware and fine Jewellery. Unique hand made walking sticks and watercolour paintings.
With around 30 stalls there is something for all tastes and pockets.
Village & Food Marquee
The Village & Food Marquee has a selection of produce from local food producers and displays from a number of local organisations.
In the Village Marquee there are displays from local organisation based in Sutton Bonington and surrounding villages. The Local U3A will have a display from their photographic group and the local St Annes Art Group (StArt) will be selling art from their members.
If the Sun is shining there will be a chance to look through a solar telescope from the Nottingham Astronomy Society
Local food producers from around the area will be selling their produce. A wide selection from wine to fudge, cakes and pies.
In the Rural Marquee you will find a selection of rural crafts and demonstrations. Wood turning, Fly tying and Taxidermy can be found here.
The Exhibitors will be happy to tell you about their craft and may be let you have a go.
There will also be a number of rural trade and craft stalls here.
Fur and Feather Marquee
The Sutton Bonington Poultry and Rabbit Show has been held at the show for many years. Classes for a variety of poultry and rabbits.
Hopefully, if all goes to plan there will be an incubator with chicks hatching on the Show day. Always a popular attraction
